Documents head to Russia today!!!!!

Documents are are gathered and in Indianapolis and heading for Russia today. After what seemed to be impossible to get.....We got all the letters and it took about three weeks to accomplish. Anytime State agencies are involved, It gets difficult to do things quickly! The good news .....The package is one its way to Russia.
We pray that the Judge will give us a court date and that it will be soon. We received Alex's furniture yesterday. His room is ready and waiting. We will enjoy our summer and hope for the best.....a court date and the ability to get this guy home!!!!!He has family to meet and friends to play with and lots of love to receive!!!!!!We'll be keeping our hopes UP!

Still waiting for letters

We are still waiting for everyone to get us the letters they promised. The state medical board is the hardest...The director has had the letter for three days and has not signed it. The lady who I call and ask to get it to the top of the pile has little patience and when I remind her that we are awaiting a court date to bring home a little boy, she gets frustrated and reminds me that they are all so overwhelmed. It is difficult....Almost there....As soon as we get that document then we can send them all to Inna.......I was told I would get an update today.....So we will see. So in the mean time, I will take all letters that I have to get apositilled.....FUN TIMES! Trying to let it go and enjoy the summer with Adam. We had a nice Fathers day weekend and continue to enjoy the summer!!!!

The Additional Documents

I had no idea that the additional documents would be so tough to get. After a ton of crying and soul searching.....We decided we would do everything we could to get what they requested and try to move towards a court date. We know that it will probably be August by the time we get a court date.....but we have to try. So I got letters from the bank, letters from the State Licensing Board, Letters from the police department, Updated Police background checks and letters from the Assessor. We still are working on letters from the state verifying social workers and the director of our agency...also have to get all updated license from our placement agency.....so it will be another week and everything should be ready...Then a week to get the paperwork to Moscow and a week to get it reviewed by the judge.....Just praying there won't be another request for more documents. This is not new information....just more information to make the other documents already submitted,valid. I had no idea. We are going for a week with family in Minnesota.....Looking forward to getting away from the whole thing.
